FAQs
-
We work with individuals, couples, families, and organizations navigating life transitions, stress, or disruption. You don’t need to be in crisis or have experienced trauma to seek support.
-
Our services are best for those who feel stuck navigating emotional, practical, or relational challenges, and want support beyond traditional therapy or coaching.
-
We’re based in Edmonds, WA, just north of Seattle. Most services happen in our office, but all of our providers offer virtual appointments for My Path and individual services. If you are seeking insurance reimbursement for psychotherapy or physical therapy, you must reside in Washington state.
-
My Path is our signature, fully personalized care program. It begins with a one-hour assessment with one or two of our providers, who listen and ask questions to understand your emotional, practical, and systemic needs. From there, we co-create a plan tailored to you, which may include:
Therapy (individual, couples, or family)
Integrated mind-body sessions
Physical therapy
Resource navigation and connection to trusted external supports
Financial guidance
Nutrition support
Practical systems solutions for home or work
Group programs
Your plan blends the services that fit your unique needs, priorities, and resources, ensuring support that is meaningful, manageable, and effective.

We are a private pay, out-of-network practice to focus on clarity, flexibility, and individualized care—not insurance constraints. This approach allows us to:
Ensure all our providers are compensated fairly for their expertise and time.
Avoid insurance bureaucracy, so we can focus on your care.
Choose the right provider for you, not just who’s in-network.
Maintain privacy—no diagnoses or session notes sent to insurance.
Move at your pace and adjust services based on your needs.
Provide consistent care even if your insurance or job changes.
-
Some clients may receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. We provide superbills so you can submit claims to your insurance provider. Limited sliding scale spots are available for financial need.
-
No. Scholarships and insurance claims are separate.

The Aftermath Charitable Fund exists to make care more accessible to people who face financial barriers. This is made possible through a fiscal sponsorship partnership with Holon Institute, supporting partial scholarships, community programs, and other initiatives aligned with our mission: helping anyone in need of support, regardless of their ability to pay.
