Resource Navigation

Sometimes what people need most isn't another appointment.

They need someone who understands how the systems work. We'll help you create a plan and walk alongside you.

How It Works

How Resource Navigation Works

Finding help isn't usually the hardest part. Finding the right help, knowing who to trust, understanding insurance, and getting through the endless phone calls and waitlists is where most people get stuck.

That's where we come in.

1

We Start with a Consultation

Our first meeting is a conversation. We take time to understand your situation, the challenges you're facing, and the barriers that have made it difficult to find solutions.

Whether you're navigating a medical diagnosis, caring for a loved one, searching for mental health services, supporting an aging parent, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the number of decisions in front of you, we begin by listening.

2

We Create a Plan

Together, we identify your priorities and determine what support would be most helpful. Every person's situation is different, so there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

We help you identify the professionals, organizations, programs, and community resources that best fit your unique needs.

3

We Do the Legwork

Unlike simply handing you a list of phone numbers, we actively help move the process forward.

  • Research providers and services that fit your specific situation.
  • Verify insurance acceptance before making a referral.
  • Confirm that providers have current availability.
  • Make phone calls with you or on your behalf (with your permission).
  • Help complete paperwork and applications.
  • Coordinate communication between providers when appropriate.
  • Connect you with community organizations, support groups, financial resources, and other practical services.

For example, if you're looking for a therapist who specializes in trauma, works with adults, accepts your insurance, and has appointments available, we'll do the research to identify providers who meet those criteria rather than leaving you to spend hours calling offices yourself.

4

We Stay with You

Many people need more than one appointment. As new challenges arise or circumstances change, we continue helping you navigate the next steps until you feel confident moving forward.

Some clients need a single consultation. Others appreciate ongoing support over weeks or months as they work through more complex situations.

Who We Help

Resource Navigation is available to people with many different financial situations. We work with clients who:

Have employer-sponsored insurance and need help finding providers who are in-network.

Have the financial resources to access private-pay services and want help finding the right fit.

Have Medicare or Medicaid (Apple Health) and need assistance locating providers and community resources that accept their coverage.

Need to maximize limited financial resources by identifying low-cost, nonprofit, or publicly funded programs.

Our goal is the same for every client: to help you access the best resources available for your unique circumstances.
